I tried the DE250's and I liked them. I like the JBL 2426, DE250 and PSD2002 equally well. Each of them has about the same sensitivity. The PSD2002 is between 105dB and 110dB through its passband, much the same as the others. So I wouldn't change the padding when swapping drivers.
