I did that with my Theater 3Pi's using the Fountek equivalent of the G2Si. The ribbon added a clearly audible element of "air" that I don't hear with just the horn tweeter. It's especially audible with cymbals, etc. I used a second order crossover with a 1.0uF Audiocap Theta and a Dayton 0.2mH 20ga air core shunt inductor. But be warned, that added "air" makes the speaker sound more like all those expensive "high end" speakers (Wilsons, etc.) that WOW you when the salesperson plays a reference quality SACD on a $10K player, but can sound harsh and fatiguing with most CD's that aren't recorded especially well.
