Sounds like that might all combine to make a pretty good system. I think I'd go with a very simple system having no crossover on the midrange, or maybe just a coil to rolloff the breakup modes. The woofer will need a coil for the same reason. Both woofer and mid will be operating at a low enough frequency that spacing between them won't be critical. Use a first-order on the tweeter and have it mounted on the same baffle as the mid. That will probably sound very nice. Give it a try and see how it sounds.As for cabinet size, the PiAligned cabinet is slightly overdamped. Works great in most rooms, especially with boundary reinforcement. A B4 alignment works well outdoors, but can be a little boomy indoors.
