In addition to the mechanical aspects of rigging, there are also acoustic concerns. Speakers suspended in free space tend to lack bass since their radiating pattern is omnidirectional. If mounted on a wall, the pattern is forced into half-space and that tends to boost bass in comparison to free space. If placed in a corner, the radiating angle is made even smaller so the effect is more pronounced. For Studio two π speakers, I'd recommend putting then against a wall on stands for best performance. You could also fasten them to the wall instead of using stands, if desired. Something like this:
