Yes it was the 2205 I read about, it was vented but I do not remember where, seems like it was a little lower, 35 hz maybe? I remember some slight adjustments to the cross over for the different driver, but I really dont remember what or how! I am sure someone on the klipsch forum can give the particulars. I have also read, I believe in the same article, as well as others, that they recommended a slightly different klipsch woofer also for netter bass in the stock arraingement than the original woofer provided. The klipsch drivers are reasonable in price, all things considered. Most I have seen, while they do the job, were light weight stamped frame and in stark contrast to the cast monsters made by altec and jbl. dont misunderstand, I have no problem with klipsch, just an observation about driver construction.
