The Kilomax doesn't have a shorting ring. The Magnums have a shorting ring which reduces distortion. All of the JBL drivers have shorting rings.

I would prefer the Delta 10 in the midhorn except in cases where the rear chamber is made large and vented to do double-duty as a bass system. The midhorn with the Delta 10 has a little better upper midrange output, and it has better power handling too. Even if you're not planning to push them, it's nice to have the overhead.
