Crossover between 60Hz and 100Hz. If you're planning to go with just one sub, I'd go with a high-order slope and use an amp that allows some adjustments. When you use a single sub, it is usually pretty far away from the mains so you'll want to have some ability to tailor it according to placement and room conditions. If you can go with two subs, I'd place them within a couple feet of your two π's and I'd use a first-order crossover. In that way, the transition will be seamless because with sound sources are within a 1/4 wavelength of each other.
