Alternatively, find a local cabinet/furniture maker and have one built for you. I'm sure you can get it done in the $500 range if you're not expecting exotic veneer or trims. Overall, it might be cheaper than the flat-pack idea because you don't have to pay for shipping. A pair of quality cabinets (even in flat-pack form) can weigh up to 100lbs.
