Yeah, that's what this midhorn was really for. The π cornerhorns were designed as a three-way, as was the ten π folded horn. In both cases, the woofer was expected to go to somewhere in the 300Hz to 600Hz range and then crossover to a midrange. I found that they ban be used much higher, and they sound great and look great too. Makes the system less complex. But there are benefits in having a dedicated midrange, and this one works well and looks good. It's a great mdeium-size vocal range horn.
