Both the JBL 2205 and 2225 are great drivers. I liked the 2225's midrange better but I liked the 2205's bass better. So if the woofer is to be used solely below 500Hz, I'd go with the 2205. But if it will be used to 1kHz or more, I'd go with the 2225.
