Your mention of ELP prompted me to go grab my copy of "Brain Salad Surgery" and pop it on the turntable. Sounds fabulous on my seven π's that you saw at MAF last April too! I really like those horns Bill made for 'em.

And I know what you mean about the larger Altec sectional horns. Super sweet. I'm going to ask Bill to make me some large-format mid horns soon. It's a little different bird, using a cone driver but similar in size and meant for the midrange rather than the overtone region up. So they're similar in that respect too.
