heres an example of an amp i could buy
that way i could go Discman ->350watt amp -> the brick amp ->main spaekers

that wud be alot more optimal

only 134$NZ for complete kit also and its TINY

i guess if the sound quality of my discman is too bad i can buy a cheap cd player
