All π cornerhorn bass bins are vented, but there's no reason a sealed cabinet couldn't be used. The main thing is that the alignment be overdamped to conjugate the bass lift from corner placement and room gain.

The JBL 2241 works very well in a π cornerhorn. See the post called "seven Pi-18 cabinet dimensions" for specific dimensons for making the bass bin for the JBL 2241.
