I know what you mean. Sometimes, it's really great to "press the go pedal." I really enjoy giving it a twist when it's crystal clear, and let the pressure move the clothes. The energy makes your adrenaline surge. Not just when listening to some kind of heavy metal or something either, one will experience this same effect listening to classical. It's all about the emotion, sort of a Pavlovian thing.

Today, for me, it was the Genesis album, "Trick of the Tail." The song, "Dance on a Volcano" brings back a lot of memories, as do all the others from that album. Following "Volcano" is "Entangled" and "Squonk," each refusing to be turned down. They'll mesmerize you and hypnotize you; Sort of mellow, but with such powerful drive that your emotions are both calmed and excited.
