I think your subs are going to be nice when done. I cross to them out of the preamp at 100hz, and have the plate amps cross over at 40hz.
This strange setup gives me the flatest response with the least of any room mode peaks. I may try the summed low out of the active crossover but can wait till the next tweak-a-thon. I'm a much happier person now that all the amps are under the system in the basement. I run balanced interconnects to everything and ic's are in a seperate case and left speakers and right speakers. Other than that, just fooling with some new ideas. not sure whats going to materialize or not. Also trying to make a few changes here and there to the web site which is another never ending project, so I just pluck at it on occasion. I'm considering doing a little winterizing to my shop. It's not exactly cozy out there when the snow flies. By the way i saw a pic of your latest system. How do you compensate for the time smear with all the horns situated as they are?

Bill
