I have no actual experience with this driver, but I will say why I would
like to.

Magnum has copper magnetic shorting rings in motor structure,
like Skan-speak and JBL, this reduces distortion very nicely. Also
note the differerence in response graph smoothness between the two near
mass rolloff. The phase plug is good for this sort of thing, and no dust
cap breakup in the mid thousands is a nice bonus too. looks real good for
1st order butterworth as a two way. A coil set at 600 Hz would bring the
rising response back down to be flat out to 1100 Hz acoustically. above
that it drops like a rock, looks like about 4th order natural rolloff.

I am real hot on trying this driver as a deluxe two way with JBL driver
on a 2370-A horn crossed 3rd order at 1200 for the HF. JBL may even be
better if you dont need bass to 30 Hz, but the magnum has the attractive
Fs and a phase plug. Both help make it look real good for strong two way
with deep bottom end and simple crossover.
