I'm using a transformer coupled 805 SET. ECC33 SRPP to triode connected KT66 transformer coupled to 805 transmitter triode. 45 watts single ended triode, very low distortion. Similar to a Shishido design (now sold by Waivac) but with quite a few mods. Does all the low power triode stuff combined with the authority of good PP or solid state.

Don't think I am going to change any time soon.
