Funny thing is, this great big box is much less 'there' than the 1.8 cu ft sealed it replaces. Before there was an undercurrent, a general rumble of bass. Now, the bass tones (I can't call soundtrack 'notes')are distinct sounds. Specific sounds. Way lower distortion.
I've turned up the gain a bit to get the full impact of explosions but it is still much better integrated.
I was over to visit a friend recently who had a Kenwood 5 speaks and receiver in a box. That's not Home Theatre, that's a radio!
