The best way to accurately find the proper values for your 16 ohm compression units is to model them and the crossover together with Spice. At this link, you will find the distribution of Spice and models for the π crossovers. To find the response of your compression units, simply replace values for R4 and L4 with those of your compression unit. They correspond to Re and Le. Then, substitute values for L1, C2 and C3 to set the crossover frequency. Also find values for R1, R2 and C1 to provide appropriate compensation and tweeter reactance damping. Run the analysis to see the response curve - When it has no peaking and gives the attenuation and top octave compensation you want - You're done.
