I think biggest break in after I connected the speakers was in the output transformers in the amp. Even though I had been using them with the headphones. When I set my stuff up at work I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just getting used to the way it sounded. After I played it for awhile I asked everyone if they thought anything was missing. A few people said they thought maybe I needed a sub but the separation between the instruments and the soundstage was amazing. The only person there who didn't say it sounded great (and he didn't really say it was bad either) was my boss and he doesn't give anyone else credit for anything anyway. ;)

I realize Bose isn't exactly hi-fi in Stereophile magazine, but their marketing department had most of my coworkers convinced that there is no other speaker company. I feel I have definately proved them wrong.
