Thanks for your detailed review, and I'm glad things worked out. It's truly an excellent review, really because it tells people your exact experience, and it shows that you're making an honest assessment of what you hear.

It's nice to hear from those that purchase loudspeaker systems from me. Those that are active on this forum are mostly DIY builders, but the people who purchase completed speakers almost never post here. I've always wished for more participation from those that purchased their speakers directly from me, but they are usually busy "living their lives." But that's cool too.

Some who have purchased from me and written here include you and Patrick, who wrote about his experience with four π speakers and his Paramour amplifier in the thread called "Tube amps and four π speakers". You might be interested to read what he has found. In fact, I think I'll do a search of the π Speaker Forum for posts about Paramours just to see what the general consensus is. You can find a link to the search results this at the end of this post.

There is another person who built his own two π speakers just like yours that calls himself "uW". When he posted the pictures of them recently, I thought for a moment he was you. His two π speakers are run with a 2A3 SET amp and a Foreplay preamp and you can see the pictures of them in his post called "2Pi Great for 2A3". Click on the link to his post - See why I thought those were yours? They look just like 'em!!!

Thanks again for taking the time to post this, and please call or write if there is anything else I can do for you.
