It was just a bit of a cost-cutting measurement... The total cost of crossovers on these speakers using the mills resistors is roughly $550 american, plus shipping, plus the rediculous duty charges I usually get slapped with (up to and including 50%) along with the poor exchange rate. I'm simply tapped out of money for these speakers, so finishing the second pair may not happen until the summer.

Thanks for the advice. I'll bite the bullet and go with the poly caps.
