Thanks for posting the link to this fine site. And you are correct, the current URL for Arai Yuichi's web site is http://www.geocities.jp/arai401204. The photo above is an example of one of his beautifully crafted wood horns, the "A480" which is designed for a 1" compression driver. He makes hyperbolic and exponential radials horns, and the measured response curves show them to be quite suitable for use with π speakers. It's indeed a pity that they aren't for sale, but as you've said - He gives detailed instructions how to build them.
