You guys can laugh all you want about my pig tweaks, but they all improve the sound more than the Aural Ersatz High Density Port Feed and magic pebbles combined. I'll give you a clue: The secret of the one sitting on Luther's gainclone amp is in the tail. I have experimented with different numbers of turns of the copper wire until I got it just right. It has the same effect as an inductor, but without the treble attenuation you would get if you wired one in series with the speakers. The noise floor is lowered by several magnitudes. Now, where did I leave that beer I was drinking?
