Hey-Hey!!!,
Battery biasing the CCS provides a bit better AC and noise performance. The batteries provide a voltage reference, and what is supposed to be zero current. They alow a bigger ret reisisto for a given level of regulated curent.

Leave them for Rev 2. They are worth playing with, but let's kep the number of absoltely new stuff to a minimum until we have music comming out.
