I hear you. It's almost like no one is listening to each other, they're just posting about whatever comes to mind having some slight association with the topic. Again, I think that's OK, it's all just for fun anyway, but it does reduce the usefulness of the board as an information resource.

There are a few messageboards that have lots of random and seemingly unrelated posts from sockpuppets as well as real people, and we all know the boards I'm talking about. They're all over the map. There's one that is a lot of fun, tongue in cheek stuff, although it sometimes goes over the top. But then when you realize that everything on it comes from about five regular members posting with a bunch of fake names, the board seems less like an audio discussion site and more like a demented blog.
