Yeah, I'm with you on this one. You might be able to put them in an EBS cabinet or maybe a bandpass. But without running the numbers, my guess is that they are really intended for large sealed boxes. That means EBS would probably work too, but I'm not sure you're going to get a lot of deep bass out of them.

On the other hand, below 100Hz, a subwoofer placed underneath near the mains is going to sum pretty well, so any additional output will help. If you already have the speakers, it seems like it couldn't hurt to give them a try. Just don't blow 'em, and if they don't work well in this application, you can use them for something else.
