It sounds like he got the unpowered 418's. The 2450's will be perfect for your setup. The 415's are rated at 350W@8ohms and the 418's are 600W@4ohms. You'll be add 500w and 750w respectively which is fine. The 418's use the same driver as the old SR series 18" sub and it was rated at 1200w. This JBL setup will take a lot more than what it's rated for. I am running WAY more power using almost the exact same setup as you except for a RMX1450 (900w) each for the 415's and a CE2000 (1950w) each for the 418's. I also have a DRPA and have the limiter set so that the system NEVER clips. Never had a problem. That is a perfect system to get you by until you start doing larger gigs and sounds great for the money. It's a little short as far as the subs go for larger gigs. I am looking into building a pair of Tuba 30's to use in place of the 418's for larger gigs. Good luck!
