Grand Master
I picked up a Mitsubishi LT-30 TT with a Shure V-15-4 cartridge on it. I was after the cartridge for old times sake and knew nothing of the TT.

I evidently was the only one who offered the guy a decent price so when I went to pick it up he threw in about 100 LP's and a Yamaha CD-1.

I tried to get him to take some money for the CD-1 but he refused.

When I got home and hooked them up I spent all weekend listening to LP's. I haven't done that in 20 years. I love that TT. I know it's not a great one but then I'm easily pleased

The CD-1 sounds great also and I've had a weakness for old CD players for years I think the CD-1 sounds quite similar to the Sony 707 ESD. The Sony having a slightly warmer sound. Or the Yamaha has a more neutral sound. However you wish to look at it
