Specs on the M-174:

.116A, 37.5 ohm, 1.84 Hy

SAM's gives the following as substitutes:

Haldorson C5037
Merit C2974
Stancor C-2325
Thordarson 26C43
Triad C17X

All have different mounting and may require some sort of bracket.

The Hammond 159T 2.5H, 300ma, 43 ohms might work, but you'd need to check the size/mounting.

Lastly, did you consider rewinding? Chokes aren't very difficult to wind by hand. Just measure the wire gauge and count the windings as you unwind the old bobbin.
