I do not think you need you need to be invited to share your thoughts on this subject on a board such as this. Of course, I know you are being polite so kudos for that. And yes I am sure we all know that your opinion is probably biased but you have more than earned the right to speak your mind on this topic.

On a side note, do you think room effects/placement had much to do with your experience with these designs? Is had a chance to hear the IDS @ RMAF and thought it could have been setup better but it is hard to do whith such relatively small rooms. Also, I thought yours and one other's room sounded excellent. Both of you had made use of extensive treatment. My friend noticed the same thing and the only thing he knows about audio is whatever I tell him (if he is paying attention). The deifference was very apparent.
