I find that the huge soundfield that you get from an array of very inexpensive tweeters (got my Onkyos for as little as $0.24 each) gives a far more natural sound than a single point source tweeter than costs a thousand times as much. Of course the total cost differential isn't that wide, as I've got a dozen tweeters per box, but still it is amazing how sweet a sound you can get from very inexpensive drivers if you just use enough of them.
