I favor near field line arrays as I detail in my white paper on this subject. Depending on the number of drivers that you array, you can achieve 10 dB or more additional sensitivity. You will likely need a line of tweeters to handle the highs as the 40-1197 shouldn't be used much above about 4000 Hz because of comb lining.

The Bessel array thought is a non-starter in my opinion as it is far field effect and likely not compatible with usage in a normal listening room. Bessel arrays have little to offer.
