I'm surprised that small-scale arrays aren't more popular. There are a handful of array speakers for home use, and some of them are reasonably popular. But for some reason, they don't often get the same kind of dedicated ownership as do speakers like planars and horns.

I gave a crossover electronics presentation at a small conference last year and I was adjacent to Jim Griffin, who was speaking about his Linus array. It was a pity, because I would have enjoyed hearing what he had to say about them. But we were scheduled in the same time slot, and so I had to miss his talk.
