I have a bunch of the fittings from my last PVC speaker build
so it's more a matter of recutting the straight sections.

Using 4in PVC you can make a baffle out of a toilet flange.

Plus the PVC is rigid-- it won't uncoil or lose shape once
assembled.

The builder and some of the crew at DIY Audio have taken up
the discussion.
