Hey Fred!!!---Those darn Pipes trailed me home and I made the mistake of letting them in and they some how took a liking to my DIY 3 Wpc Amp---guess I'll have to keep them now!!!! Stefan, you will not find a better return on investment/sound quality-----just use some very good quality plywood---stuff with no voids (knot holes) ----and as Fred told me, you don't need a monster amp---I have several vintage amps in the 12-25 wpc range but my home brew 3.5Wpc is the cleanest and will rock the room!----And---finally, the BASS question always comes up----You will spend a lot of time and $$$$ trying to outdo this speaker----You, sir, have been fore-warned!!! ---Jim
