I like to confirm what Scott has found, currently I am using this combo, De250 and RCF100 in a bass reflex config., no equalization is required but for those you are perdantic some equalization maybe necessary. I use DCX2496 so I can apply some equalization.

For those you are on tight budget this combo gives very good value for money at the same time sound excellent.
