Wellll,

I've had the little 4540 Neo and heard the 4592(?) 2" coax.

The 4592 is almost impossible to pad down to where it mates well with large woofers in a Pi 2-way. Used above 4000 Hz, not bad.

The 4592, in a very well-executed 2 1/2 way design sounded artificially airy to my ears but loved by the owner. I can only imagine my stuff would be insufferably dull-sounding to his ears.

Maybe it's nostalgia, but nothing since has given me the kick of the first time I fired up my 4Pi Theatres with the PSD-2002. Not as revealing as the 2226 but mighty musical.
