They are what I like, and perform better for my liking.

The neo magnet drivers have more flux in the gap than ceramic counterparts. The neo magnet has a more stable flux across the entire frequency range. The driver is 1/3 the the weight and significantly reduces shipping cost. The neo magnets drivers are well worth the little extra money over a ceramic and less expensive than new alnico models.
