I currently have an old pair of old EV front mains with the active eq which gives me flat resp to around 32Hz. The bass is pretty good but I can do better. I have been wondering if I should loose the eq and let the bass roll off for the subs to take over, fearing cancellation.
From what your saying, it would be better for me to keep the bass out of the main as low as possible and add more subs. You prefer bandpass over sealed?
I have read all of your posts on the boards I frequent, and I want to thank you for lending your valuable time to these forums.
