Well, I understand given the business JBL already gets from the pro market, it doesn't make economical sense for them to build for home use. But there's not much to stop an independent shop from designing, building, and marketing a line of home use speakers built with JBL Pro components. In the last HiFi Expo I went to, there were a lot of speaker companies who use Fostex and Lowthers (or "modified" versions) in their speakers. But none use JBL Pro components.
