Horns for the most part do just plain sound better, but there is the problem of size. Years ago I used KHorn clones but had to retire them due to space restrictions, and only recently have I been able to go back to horns. It wasn't an easy transition, as my space had not gotten any larger, I just had to figure out a way to make to make horns that are smaller.
For pro use where size is less of a consideration there is no question. Horns rule.
