The drivers will not last a week (month tops) in a car's environment. There is too much heat and vibration. Modern car speakers are built much more rugged than the engineers of your 25+ year old speakers could have ever dreamed possible. Another consideration is power handling. I suspect the maximum power handling of these speakers is 50 watts, but that's just a wild-ass guess.....Colin
