BTW, I now have one of each, a Kenwood KW-8077, and a TT-50. They look the same from the outside (except for inverted bezel and knob colors black lower bezel on the KW-8077, silver on the TT-50, and vice-versa on the knobs). But what I find very interesting is the electronics sections in both are electrically identical. The real difference is that the KW-8077 has a three motor transport, and the TT-50 a single motor transport. I'm switching the plug-in electronics sections in order to get the 8077 set working as it has an intermittant switch in its box, that loses one channel, and it seems that 3x DPDT Alps switch is no longer available.-Steven
