I, too, really like the looks of the Goldring, and I'm leaning heavily towards the 1.2 series. I'm going to wait a few days and see how an eBay auction for a Thorens TT ends. There's a very nice one offered locally and he's willing to do local pick up (and knock a few bucks off, since he won't need to pack.)......C
