Old dual idler drive tables need maintanance after they are 10-15 years old. A new idler wheel and proper platter and motor lube would probably do it. A repair manual can be purchased for around $10 that will tell what oils to use and show how to fix almost anything on them. The 1229 is a decent table when fixed up, as are the 1219 and 1019.
