Sad.. The 45 DRD design is really good sounding, but only for those with very efficient speakers. I used my pair of tube rectified 45 DRD amps to drive twin 15" woofer bass bins, and a pair of tad td-4001 drivers. The 1.8 wpc can make enough spl's to drive me out of the room. The 45 tube makes the human voice sound more realistic. These amps will make someone very happy. I have far too many tube amps now to consider buying another pair. My next expense is to buy a pair of EML 45 tubes. John C.
