In your experience of making use of solid state amps, which of the amps that you would say have delivered for the longest period?
I've had the boss katana 100 for a long time now and would say that the favourite amp that I've ever gotten with minimal issues over a period. Which one tops it for you?

Since the late 80's. I can't remember what year I did a Hafler 220 kit that I still use today in hot weather. I have tube amps too. I've always like it's sound. Which is benefitted by a real good tube preamp.

Hi. The longest and still in use running the PC audio and a turntable right now just above the monitor is a Marantz 1060 Console amp. I bought it in 1969. So 57 years.

Wow! It is lovely that the Marantz 1060 has been with you for 57 years. That's quite a long time, and it shows that the gear is good. My Boss Katana 100 has been nice, too, and that's what I've been using for a while now.
How does Marantz sound with your turntable and PC after all that time? Do you have any tips on keeping old amps being active for this long?
