Of the many new machine-assisted tools that seem to appear daily anymore, thought this diyA link may be of interest, here.  It's a bit more "hardcore" in the sense that a full set of polars is expected (lends itself to vcad workflow), but such is the case for at least a subset of DIY'ers here.  You can do everything that makes sound for free, but impulse becomes monetary.  The world keeps moving fast.

Illuminati (33rd Degree)

That looks like a useful program.  I see that cost is $470.00, payable over 12 months.

CARA was $50.00, but that was 25 years ago.  So the price today would probably be about the same.

Cool link!  Thanks for the heads-up!

Not-selling, but I think it's 29 Euros for a 12 mo period but only for that "Pro" stuff which seems "bling" to me at this point.  I've only ever had simple s/w crossovers (pulseaudio crossover rack) running, so the ability to learn / hear more sitting on my butt w/o horsing everything around is interesting, but I admit to simple curiosity just to see what can be done with only 1st reflections.  I honestly don't have the hardware it needs to do better.  He's posting by the minute and really in the throes of it...right this moment, too!  :)  He's a very good guy I've been reading for years and it's fun seeing guys that still have fire in their belly--eggs us all on and makes us smile, or at least it does for me.  Best to all!
