I think streaming services like Spotify have something to do with it. It's all about algorithms and whether people will listen to it. Christian music is beginning to sound like pop music too.

Most artists are beginning to drift away from the genre that brought them to the limelight. That is what has affected country music in a way. It is now all about the numbers and what they get to make at the end of the day.
